Industrial conveyor system procurement articles

Notes for buyers preparing factory RFQs: specify the transfer before choosing a conveyor belt, and separate belt load capacity from accumulation duty. These articles are procurement guidance, not engineering certification or factory credentials.

Interface	Buyer input
Electrical	Three-phase supply voltage, frequency in Hz and connected load in kW for drives, brakes and any indexed stops; omit invented kW if the quoted industrial conveyor system is a passive roller section.
Utilities	Compressed air demand if pneumatic stops or transfers are in scope; cooling water only if a drive enclosure or brake package lists it. Extraction is usually not required for a dry package conveyor.
Controls	PLC interface names, photo-eye locations and the handshake when the downstream machine stops accepting product. Protocol labels without I/O maps are incomplete.
