RFQ Checklist

industrial conveyor belt system

Before specifying an industrial conveyor belt system, resolve the smallest product footprint at each transfer, what happens when the downstream machine stops accepting product, and which guides and transfer components change between formats. This page is a decision dossier, not an environmental statement. Industrial Conveyor System Sourcing uses the checklist to keep factory quotes comparable. It does not certify plants or publish a belt-life figure.

Decision point Evidence or question
Questions to resolve: Equipment scope Record belt width in mm, conveyor length in mm, load in kg with how it is distributed, speed in m/min with product conditions, smallest product footprint at each transfer, incline, three-phase supply (V, Hz), connected load (kW), footprint, quantity and destination. Feedstock is the moving SKU. Tooling is the guide and transfer set. Work envelope is remaining access around the frame. A 68 kg public example from 2026-09-17 is a unit check for one series, not this RFQ’s rating.
Price exclusions Tick whether accumulation hardware, extra guides, photo-eyes, spare belts, training, installation, freight, duties and commissioning are inside or outside the industrial conveyor belt system price. A missing tick is an exclusion. Compressed air drops, PLC interface names and SAT travel are also site-cost items. No percentage advantage is stated on this page. Optional budget notes (currency, per-unit or whole-order) help search; they are not a factory rating.
Response basis A supplier response is usable when it restates transfer geometry, accumulation method when the downstream machine stops, allowable product contact, included changeover parts and the FAT sample set. Single machine versus integrated line remains a comparison of interfaces, not of slogans. Throughput in units per hour must include handling. Positioning is judged on the transfer. Duty cycle is the planned shift pattern.

Remaining questions: who owns guarding at each machine boundary, whether flow rate of compressed air is required, and whether working pressure is listed for pneumatic stops. Cooling water is usually absent. See transfer specification and inquiry options.

Cycle time after changeover must be written if multiple formats share the industrial conveyor belt system. Spare parts should name belts and wear strips separately from sensors owned by the next machine. Viscosity and mold language from other equipment families do not apply here. Feedstock chemistry is irrelevant unless the product leaks onto the belt; then cleaning method belongs in the brief. This dossier does not replace a named factory drawing.
